Huai’an is located on the dividing line between the North and South of China. It has four distinct seasons and covers a total area of about 10,000 square kilometers with a population of nearly 5.6 million. Huai’an has a history of more than 2,200 years. Huai’an, Yangzhou, Suzhou and Hangzhou are also known as the “four major cities” along the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal.
